Dead Horse Point State Park

Mesa Arch
Mesa Arch is a natural sandstone arch located in the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park in Utah. It is one of the most iconic and photographed landmarks in the park, as it frames the La Sal Mountains and the Colorado River valley in the background. The arch is accessible by a short hiking trail that leads to a viewpoint on the edge of a cliff. The best time to visit Mesa Arch is at sunrise, when the sun illuminates the underside of the arch and creates a stunning contrast with the dark landscape.
