I earned an undergraduate degree in photography and a master's degree in the history of the medium. As a master's student I grew very fond of teaching and as a recovering rock star Wanna-Be, I am addicted to performing. So, I get my fix by teaching workshops and lecturing to professional photographers and photo enthusiasts throughout the US and across the globe.
And when I am not teaching other photographers, I practice the art of telling stories by documenting your most important moment in life and it is my greatest honor to do so.
Mark Denny

I began working as a freelance photographer in 2016 creating outdoor photography content for local brands and in 2018 joined the Visual Wilderness Team with some of the best landscape photographers in the world. Much of my YouTube content has been featured in publications such as PetaPixel, Fstoppers and ShutterBug Magazine.

As a photographer I am both a witness and interpreter of nature. My goal is to capture the essence of the landscape through the lens of my inner vision.  The canvas for my image is nature.  There is nothing that stands between me and nature and the starting point for my images is the direct experience of nature.  Taking the path less traveled does help in the creation of unique images, but even more important is bringing who I am as a person to my images.  This includes my emotions and thoughts, both at the time of capture and also while processing the image.  Success in photography, finding my own vision, is the integration of my direct experience with nature with who I am as a person, my authentic self.  If the resulting images also resonate with others who share in my vision, then I have created photographic art.

i believe that the Earth shares secrets with us that only can be discovered by trying to understand our position on this planet. We are never fully intimate with the planet but are given brief moments that make our souls want more. These glimpses of nature’s power are fleeting and never the same twice. I also believe it is important to share with those who want it. The treasures that await us given the patience that is out there. What I try to do is bring some of that magic to my images to share with the rest of the world. Each of my images tells a story that everyone can relate to in some way whether is was success, fear, or challenging oneself to overcome obstacles

Landscape Photographers
David Noton

I am a landscape and travel photographer with 35 (and counting) years’ experience as a professional. During my photographic career I have travelled to many corners of the globe. Like most photographers, I suspect, I find writing my own biography difficult; it is far too easy to sound as if I take myself far too seriously. But some are interested, apparently, so here is a simple review.
Joseph Rossbach

My quest as a landscape and nature photographer is to showcase wild, beautiful & unique natural locations and to use my creative vision to capture those landscapes in high quality and evocative images that inspire awe in the viewer, respect for the natural world and ultimately a greater appreciation of wilderness and wilderness preservation.
Alex Noreiga

I'm a professional nature photographer and photography educator, and I travel full-time around the United States. I seek to convey a sense of mystery with my photographs; I want to spark the viewer’s imagination. Though I initially became known for grand landscapes, I now prefer to focus on more subtle, intimate scenes. I have a great appreciation for the timeless compositions of the masters of film. I aim to blend the influence of this classic style with contemporary techniques in my work.
Erin Babnik

Erin Babnik is known internationally as a leading photographic artist, educator, writer, and speaker. Her ambitious and expressive style of landscape photography brings together an unusual integration of adventurous exploration, progressive techniques, and formal education in the arts. In her writing and public speaking, Erin explores topics with a unique blend of art historical, philosophical, and instructional ideas, an approach that has made her one of the most notable voices among the current generation of landscape photographers.
Chip Phillips

Spokane, Washington based photographer Chip Phillips began his relationship with photography in 2006 when his father gave him his old Pentax Spotmatic film SLR camera. Chip was immediately hooked, and soon made the transition to digital. Given his lifelong love of the outdoors, he naturally made the progression to focusing on landscape photography.
Enrico Fossati

I am a landscape photographer and Image maker based in Italy, I am a world-renown image editor for my specific processing and production. I pursue the beauty of nature and seasons trying to capture the essence of the mood and transform my images into unique emotional experiences deeply influenced by my passions and dreams.

Ryan Dyar

My idea of creating imagery seems to be constantly changing as I evolve as a photographer and I take artistic liberties with the process of making my own style of art, which might not be for everyone. Whether what I do resonates with you or not, I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to check it out.
Simon Roppel

Simon is an award-winning Swiss photographer who lives in a small village in Northern Switzerland. His passion for photography increased steadily since he started in 2010. Since then, he has traveled all around the globe, always searching for the perfect shot. The Western US, Canada, Greenland, the Lofoten in Norway and the quite far away New Zealand are what he likes best. Each of these countries has their own unique landscapes. Simon loves the remote areas and being one with nature. "I don't like touristic spots; I'm fascinated about the solitude of nature. Is there anything more amazing than being all by yourself somewhere in the middle of nowhere and becoming a witness of breathtaking spectacles nobody else has ever seen or will ever, see?". His enthusiasm about photography hardly knows a limit. He takes all exertions on himself that are needed to get what he wants. Neither wind nor weather will stop him as these are the moments where the real good images are taken. "There's no bad weather, just bad preparation" is his device. Consequences are that his photographic trips are often more than adventurous. His next plans are to explore Switzerland and Europe's most beautiful places. He would love to show other people these places as well as "our surroundings have so much to offer, but I guess we just close our eyes and think that all these beautiful spots are out of reach and to far away"
Mark Adamus

Welcome, and thank you for having a look at my photographic art. I’d like to introduce you to the natural world I know. Come follow along on my journey. Explore, consider, and take something with you. This is nature through my eyes. These photographs do not arise from any particular desire to see the world through a lens, but rather from my deep passion for this land we call wilderness. It has shaped every aspect of my life. I wish to show you the amazing, beautiful and powerful forces that have created the Earth we live on.
Through these photographs I express my feelings for the locations I visit and the wonders of nature that I encounter along the way. With these photographs I attempt to bring my experiences in wild Earth to the viewer.
Max Rive

Born and raised in the flat country of the Netherlands, Max visited the high mountains of Switzerland for the first time at the age of 5. Looking at topo maps, making hiking routes, and running in front of his parents and brother, it was immediately obvious that Max had a true and deep passion for mountains and landscapes.
Daniel Kordan

I have been fascinated by the possibilities of photography since my early childhood. I grew up at beautiful lake region under Moscow exploring wild nature, spending most of my free time in the nature. I graduated the art painting school when I was a kid. Mix art, nature, constant activities and you’ll receive a summary – art of Landscape photography. Life started swirling me, pushing me into the rush. University, hard work on my quantum physics thesis, family and friends… But there is always a pleasure in the pathless woods: places I always returned and always admired. Nature is my inspiration, with all the beauty and variety of colors and compositions.
Albert Dros

I'm a 36 year old photographer from The Netherlands. I am known for my extreme passion for landscape photography, always wanting to plan unique shots. Volcanos, Solar Eclipses, I've done it all.
Paul Ziska

From the peaks of the Canadian Rockies to iceberg-laden seas off the coast of Greenland, Paul’s journey to capture the “under-documented” is a testament to his passion for exploration, his creative vision and fierce sense of determination. These qualities, combined with his pursuit of fresh perspectives and a deep love for the landscape, have resulted in an ever-growing portfolio of cutting-edge images.
Whether it’s wading waist-deep into a glacier-fed lake or chasing auroras from dusk til dawn, Paul is known for an adventurous spirit that draws him to the extraordinary. Highlighting his collection are his signature self-portraits, epic mountaineering moments, dreamy astrophotography images, as well as a window into some of the most remote corners of the planet.
Joshua Snow

His work combines very calculated and meticulous compositions with vibrant colors and vivid imagination. Doing his best to convey a sense of experience, rather than a finite moment in time. This combination has led to a demand for his immersive photography workshops that keep him on the road for sometimes months at a time in his hand-built adventure van. Over the years he has carved a niche in the photography education industry, teaching advanced creative techniques that bridge the gap between photography and digital art and are some of the deepest and most kept secrets of the pros.
Simon Baxter

Simon is best known for his YouTube videos in which he shares his relaxed and considered approach to woodland photography. His videos also communicate the benefits of an emotional connection to the landscape and the joys of sharing your time outdoors with a four-legged friend. Although Simon enjoys creating further afield, his most recognised work is a result of his unique approach to photography in the quiet corners of North Yorkshire and his empathetic commitment to the places he loves.

Wildlife Photographers
Jared Lloyd

With art we transcend the boundaries of species, and we relate, connect, understand, an experience the natural world and wildlife for what it truly is. Though I have been an artist as long as I can remember, I long ago chose to harness my creativity for something greater than myself. It is for this reason that my purpose is to not only share intimate moments of nature, but help educate on what exactly is at stake with the loss of species, habitat, and biodiversity through my art.
Hector Astorga

Hector D. Astorga is a full-time wildlife photographer based in South Texas.  His love of nature and the outdoors began as a child in his native country, Honduras. He is the ranch manager at the Santa Clara Ranch, a photography ranch that hosts wildlife photographers from all over the globe. He leads and conducts photography tours & workshops at multiple locations in North, Central, and South America, Scandinavia, and Africa.

Evan Watts
I’m Evan Watts, a wildlife and landscape photographer born and raised in central Kentucky. For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for the outdoors. Some of my earliest memories are of my grandpa and I riding deep into the Appalachian foothills of eastern Kentucky, exploring the mountains and catching frogs and salamanders. I am an Eagle Scout, and my passion for the outdoors was further developed on the many campouts we went on during my 12 years in Scouts.
